But it is ALL that they ever sing, on repeat.I think Marching On Together is GREAT. Top tier stuff - and far better than YNWA.
In fact I'd say it is pretty much the best thing about that club.

I have mentioned before my best mate being a massive Leeds United fan who worshipped Rutter and was GUTTED when we signed him. He is really into FPL and joined a podcast to discuss Leeds. He is on this episode with a Burnley fan. Both my mate and the Burnley fan come across well.
It is after about 28 mins my mate is asked about Leeds’ chances this season. He is balanced in his assessment on champo vs prem. harms the “deluded Leeds fan” point a bit
That is basically what my mate said when asked if Leeds would stay up. “If we come 17th then who is 18th?” So looking at West Ham, Everton, spurs, wolves, Man U this season. The current teams coming up perhaps have a problem that we didn't.
When Albion went up they went into a group of 8-10 teams who were much the same. The only difference would be how wise they were in the transfer market building from scratch. All three promoted teams survived that year (Although Albion nearly fell the next and Huddersfield went down).
However, 'teams like' Brighton, Bournemouth, Fulham, Nottingham Forest and Brentford, who should still be in that group, have now moved on. If those teams continue on an upward curve then who are Leeds and others realistically trying to displace ? Even Wolves improved this year and we can hardly expect Manchester United and Spurs to stay down there.
Thus we have the scenario that played out this year. Although, in caution, because of what happened this year and the 15 points between 8th and 17th, I would say that if one or two of the promoted teams do manage to play their cards well then it is wrong to assume we are safe next year. One bad window and some bad decisions and we could find ourselves where we don't want to be- as Leicester City will tell us.
Given those first few years in the PL - its incredible to think that we're currently 30 points ahead of 18th.Thus we have the scenario that played out this year. My Leeds supporting mate, despite extolling how well they are currently playing, is under no illusion; they need to buy several Prem level players to compete with most of the PL.The current teams coming up perhaps have a problem that we didn't.

Someone will get sucked in from the lot of us competing for Europe. I just hope it isn’t us. For exampleMy Leeds supporting mate, despite extolling how well they are currently playing, is under no illusion; they need to buy several Prem level players to compete with most of the PL.
I agree about the risk of us getting caught at the wrong end of the table. The margins are tiny and the loss of one or two key players (could be any of Baleba, Pedro, Mitoma, van Hecke, Lamptey?) plus a few injuries, could see us with a fight on our hands. I don't expect that to happen, but realise that it's within the realms of possibility.
Exactly. PSR does nowt to stop the endless bullshit about top 7 rumours, but in reality it’s a handbrake on most clubs (except those who manipulate any rule(s)).PSR restricts them though - they will only be able to post losses of £62m over the past two seasons and next.
They had to sell Rutter and Summerville, to keep them in compliance of FFP in the championship,.
For that calculation, they had 2 years of Premier losses allowed and Parachute payments for the other one.
IncorrectBut it is ALL that they ever sing, on repeat.
I reckon West Ham could struggle: Bowen and Kudus are far too good for that club and I could see both goingThat is basically what my mate said when asked if Leeds would stay up. “If we come 17th then who is 18th?” So looking at West Ham, Everton, spurs, wolves, Man U this season.
I have a hunch that forest might really struggle next season. They got so many jammy wins and hardly any injuries. A few injuries and Europe and they could really struggle next season.

I would imagine that Pep is poised to join them. That would be so Leeds
Of course they got loads of jammy wins. Yes they sit back but this relied on freaky good finishing from wood but again this has stopped as the variance plays out.Forest '... got so many jammy wins'.
Pull the other one, it's got bells on.
League tables don't lie.
Add to that the fact that they got all the way to the semi final of the FA cup winning just one game, home to Luton.Of course they got loads of jammy wins. Yes they sit back but this relied on freaky good finishing from wood but again this has stopped as the variance plays out.
Since they beat us on pens they have won 2 games.
Beat Man U 1-0 who absolutely battered Them but missed chance after chance. They had more than 20 shots with 6 on target and an xG of close to 2. How on earth Maguire didn’t score I don’t know. Forest had a handful of shots and xG was 0.5. Forest got very lucky.
They beat spurs 2-1 who again battered them. 22 shots vs 4. XG over 2 vs not quite 0.5.
They drew against Liverpool and beat Liverpool this season and were dominated in both games. But took their chance while Liverpool had one of those games where they finished like absolute morons. It happens. They also won at old Trafford when United simply kept missing simple chances.
They have won lots of tight matches where a decent break has gone their way with a fortuitous goal.
Don’t forget they have had had very very few injuries. They could easily struggle next year with the demands of Europe.
