As normal, not really much Bart could have done with the goals, but you really do barely need any shots on target against us to get goals. That's been the case all season ..... and actually for a few seasons

Fourth lowest save % in the league out of 21 keepers and third highest errors leading to goals in the league. Not having a good season. He was 6th (out of 25, Steele second worst) highest last year.

SANCHEZ has by far the highest. Bring him back? Although he has the most errors in league for errors leading to goals.

It’s a shame that Steele is not available, I think Bart needs some competition and has not covered himself in glory recently. All keepers need some competition imo

I am not anti Bart btw, just think he would benefit from being pushed
I think he’d benefit from some protection and a manager that sets up a team not to concede…

People can argue all they want about BVs role in Rashford’s goal on Wednesday (and I don’t think it was his fault in the slightest), but leaving Gomez 1v1 against Rashford on the half way line was a suicidal, criminal piece of management that left our keeper highly exposed. And it’s that kind of defensive openness that has led to many of the goals conceded this year, rather than any inability on BVs part.

I mean how stupid must Bayern Munich to be interested in him - they obviously need better scouts than those experts on NSC

Poor Bart. If only he got the opportunity to save some goals but they’re always “no chance” because our defence is so open. That or always deflections. Or penalties. Still, he’s our greatest ever keeper.

That does not look for our GK coaching team.

I think this is an oft overlooked point. The chances we give up appear harder to save on account of them seeming being fast break one on ones after a cheap turnover by our defence/midfield.

It was the same for Steele last season. It feels like our keepers are always left high and dry, but maybe that's just a result of the type of football we want to play as a club. It is higher risk, so as a result we give up more high xG chances?
