He’s such a crap manager it’s Leicester and he crapped himself. This was a game to see if Wieffer is any good or if Cashin is likely to make it.
Because he hasn’t built any kind of formation:style each game is different from the last.
Southampton and now this shower have looked the most likely team to win in both games.
What are we holding out for with this guy?
Such lazy analysis.
If he had played Wiefer we're Cashin and the result was the same you would be complaining he didn't play Beleba at center back.

Just far enough away from LDC
The biggest downside of playing baleba as centre back wasn't how he played at centre back, but more the loss of him in midfield in front of the centre backs. Would dunk have gone for the ball that led to their 1st of baleba was patrolling that line as he normally does?

Thought it was quite wonderful when Baleba did that block early on in the game. Not only did the block but then went storming up the pitch with the ball, a run only ended when he got hacked down near the centre circle. Else he'd probably have stormed right through them and scored :lolol:

So this post by Baleba.

Either he's put something misleading which he must know will undermine the manager or the internal preparation for yesterdays fixture was eye wateringly unprofessional.

He did really well at centre back, especially in the first half. If we had two of him, probably one would make it in the team in the back 4. However we do miss him in midfield

The arse end of Hangleton
And yet CB did an amazing job at CB.

Yeah - REALLY crap decision :lolol:
Agreed BUT we'd have been better off with him in midfield. At least he's proven he can play in multiple positions and was still better than Dunk - alledgelly our best CB . By far the best player on the pitch and our next £100m plus player.

Almost all clubs are selling clubs, but it’d be nice to have performing first teamers such as Ali Mac hang around for two or three seasons, to build rapport with us and make Europe a possibility. A ridiculously accelerated ££££ programme exploited by White, Cuckoo and Caicedo may be great for those salivating over club spreadsheets, but it’s disruptive and means we’re forever in a jam tomorrow process where supporters never actually see the culmination bear fruit.
As with all the recent high profile sales they are largely driven by the players wanting to leave not the club wanting to sell them.

Not sure why many can’t grasp this.

I do wonder whether Baleba looked unruffled there due to his modest opponents.

If you put him up against a top centre forward, like Watkins or Isak, I wonder how he'd get on

Love those kind of marauding defender runs. Ok, its generally a pretty bad idea when playing with only two CBs, but I'm willing to overlook it.

Dunk fancied one, got the first part horribly wrong (controlling the ball) and a few seconds later it was 1-1

Not sure he was going on a run (he rarely makes those) rather than bring it down and move it on. But yeah control was horrible.

Fab clearly wants one of the two CBs to act as a stopper-CB when they have their pivot in between (or behind) them. Dunk and also Igor (when fit) has struggled with that a bit.

Absolutely.

I think this is why we have an ageing leadership problem. Who will our next captain be if we assume we sell anyone consistently good before they are 27 / in the top of their arc?

Our current structure only really worked with Dunk in form and seemingly never going anywhere else.
JPVH is the obvious choice, it's whether he hangs around long enough.

Corrected for you based on our collective shooting ability yesterday.

I just think it is a joke to spend £20m on a CB and put our best midfielder at CB in front of him. This is despite the fact Baleba was yesterday not only our best defender but also our best midfielder.

Maybe if CASHIN had arrived at the ground in time* then CB wouldn’t have been forced to play at CB

If this is true, for this to happen twice in a season, then I think there is an underlying disciplinary issue throughout the squad, that FH isn’t being able to deal with.
