Because he's always injured and has little to no match rhythm. Been the case all season, he's in the squad 3-4 games and then injured for a while and then back etc. Came on last week and looked like some ex-National League player we dragged out of the pub because we were short on people.

If he can pull of 4-5 sub appearances in a row without ending up hospitalised, he could have a chance to start a game or two at the end of the season.
He’s been on the bench for every game since end of Feb…

After Leicester's subs they were bossing the game. Hurzeler failed to react to that. Fortunate to get away with a point against a truly dreadful Leicester side.

What is the point of Wieffer if Hurzeler doesn't trust him, or considers him incapable of coming on and taking the initiative in midfield with twenty minutes left?
There isn't one.

You can see why they are where they are. So open at the back. Albion players too arrogant and lazy today. If we’d have got a two goal lead they’d have crumbled. So so many chances to score today. Last 20 minutes we played like a pub team. No effort, no energy no clue.

Need some of the Injuries to clear up, woefully short in defence.
That’s not going to happen unfortunately. JPVH back next should make a big difference, but the injured 5 defenders seem to be out for the season.

Says a lot about our injuries when Tariq Lamptey has (I think) been the most available of our 3 right-backs this year. To think that he gets branded as a sick note when we’ve got Ferdi that has been out with a sore toe since October. That’s a bloody sick note!

"It's frustrating for us, we need to find a way to win games. To be in a European tournament, we need to win games."

"We created a lot of chances and we need to score more, me also."

"Everyone is sad and frustrated because we could've won, we can't drop points."

Beating Newcastle in the cup did us and then the international break, we could have had a break before the Villa game and could have got a result against them and Palace. We lost arguably our 2 best players against Forest and we are always poor at home against rubbish sides, we will probably beat Liverpool at home but think we need the end of the season now.
I was thinking that for most of the Newcastle game, that all of our rivals for European places were in the cup, and the ones that got knocked out at that stage would be best placed for the league run in. I was quite content to lose, but then ecstatic to win. Ah well.

I bet even the "happy clappers" are fairly pissed off by now. I know there will be voices (even on this forum) where any negative comment is shut down as being "knee jerk" or something else and there will be those who blindly think that everything is great because we played at Gillingham so we have to be happy and never critisise anything.

Yeah and I was hoping it meant he was reaching some level of fitness. Then he goes away with the Dutch squad, plays ONE minute and then missing the Nottingham game last week through injury. So I'm wondering exactly where he is on the "badly injured - fit like a fox" scale. I get the impression he is carryig some issue making it difficult/impossible for him to play more than X minutes.

We'll see where it goes... if he's fit he should get plenty of game time now when we have nothing to lose and can give more players more of a chance. I wouldn't be shocked if we hear at the end of the season that he's going under the knife though.

Totally shocking today, Leicester no goals in how many carved us open with ease with attacking with pace, something we need to learn
Nah I'm sure if Verbruggen slowly rolls the ball out and the defence then passes it back and forth often enough it'll come good.

Trust the process. Or something.

Yes we are, and the perpetual moaners now moaning with pleasure while rubbing the shit game into the face of everyone whos happy every now and then isn't helping, but I guess I should be happy that Junior etc get the misery they live and die for.

How hard can it be for a professional footballer to hit a goal?

It’s not even like their keeper made a string of huge saves (like Trafford did for Burnley), we kept missing the f***ing goal
