I’m going through some stuff mate… losing my dad has made football a bit of a trigger… you know, for getting emotional 🥲

I have my reasons for deciding I needed to give myself some space.

I wonder what the players reasons are for simply not trying in two of the most important games of the season… ?

Hey ho, I guess we’ll never know.
Fair enough. Sorry to hear that.

Although if you didn’t see it, you won’t know if they tried or not. We’ve played a lot worse.

It’s okay, you weren’t to know… football meant so much to us together… I’ve found it hard to be around it since he passed…

I saw the home game though, probably one of worst displays of the season.

Glad we put it right toda… oh, yeah… sigh.

😭

McConville isn’t tearing up trees at Norwich. He played 13 minutes in their loss to the mighty Plymouth today. Not sure he’d be the answer even if we did still own him.
Norwich have three excellent CBs - Duffy (who we all know how good he'll be in the Championship), paired with either a Panamanian international, Jose Cordoba, or a top class England U21 international (Doyle) on loan from Citeh; their CB situation has been solid and stable all season. So - there isn't - and wasn't - an immediate vacancy, but Doyle will be back to Citeh in the summer, and Duffy isn't getting any younger, so McConville is one for the future. Like next season.
Because of the stability at the back, he's only had a very few minutes as a late sub - and that is enough to justify "he isn't tearing up trees"? Bloody difficult on the subs bench, is pulling up trees!

Watching the Villa game now. Their forwards make it look so easy…2-0.
It’s really great to see an attacker facing goal with only 1 or 2 defenders in the box and the keeper
We really get that these days and I find it very frustrating to watch us

More like without Rutter we are toothless. Recruitment for the future and not enough that can really help the team now. The really laughable thing is people criticise how Palace are run. Their recruitment has absolutlely spanked ours the last 12 months.

And their manager is so much better than ours too.

Oh hang on, they're behind us. That doesn't fit the narrative.

Those 12 minutes of injury time join the Walsall nine men as historical monuments to footballing incompetence. That bicycle kick by Wieffer on 95 mins 😮 - I knew we were getting nothing then

As a verb, "glory" means to rejoice proudly or exult, often followed by "in" (e.g., "glory in their success").
You think being angry about our performance today equals glorying in. Which is strange interpretation when clearly people are pissed off because they care and the game is nothing if not about emotions.

Least Fab didn’t hide he said basically we didn’t play well and Palace wanted it more now his job to work out why and try to learn and make sure next time we play Palace we are up for it

As Fab told BBC in post match "we didn't win personal duels". To me, that's Palace wanted it more than us?
He loves a personal duel does young Fab, almost as much as his, our process and the trust.

I’d like to know why the process has seemingly regressed…? it’s having a negative impact on my trust levels.
