Oh, more than likely. We are so much more the smaller club historically with small club mentality it seems in many respects. Players come and go and even our good ones rarely turn up in this fixture. Will we see today? I very much doubt it, we just play like dogshit more often than not against them. Home and away. So fecking depressingly predictable.
Sorry. Don't agree with that.
Take away the home performance this season and they have been bloody lucky against us. Pervis var, sanchez dropping the ball, biggest smash and grab ever at the Amex.
We have also stuffed them a few times in recent seasons.

I don't think it's luck though. They play that way, and capitalise on our inability to put chances away. That's not luck - it's good play (if you like that sort of play).

That game where they got the softest ever pen and it was their only touch in our box.

What a blatantly wrong var for pervis goal that cost us 2 points and sanchez dropping the ball for a tap in that cost us 2 points?

With Dunk‘s composure dissipating every week and JH having a very poor game against Villa, our defence was always looking shaky before we started. Our attack needs to be on fire today as I’m sure we’ll concede more..

Palace at moment 4 points behind us with a game in hand
Oh, I fully expect them to overtake us and start a St Hovey day. Brighton have always been the smaller club and always will be it seems. So utterly predictable so far, we’re just so shit and it’s always the refs fault, the pitch’s fault, injuries fault…for the past f***ing 10 years we’ve typically been making excuses.

That’s what I’ve been saying! We should dominated this fixture in recent seasons, instead we’ve typically sunk to their level and lost, draw and generally stunk the stadium out. You can absolutely guarantee they wouldn’t if boot was on other foot. In fact they didn’t. They just beat or thrashed us.

Thing is though - with the Sanchez thing in particular. They kept us out other than the Solly goal, and then capitalised on our mistake. And Sanchez dropping the ball wasn't just 'luck' either - he got into the habit of making mistakes - and still does. It's not unlucky if you repeat the same errors - it's bad play.

The Pervis one, yes. But again - the main issue was our inability to take the other chances.
