As others have said, Scandinavian countries (particularly Sweden) have a plethora of metal bands.

I have a hard time with most Swedish rap... I can deal with the Southern more reagge-sounding stuff:


But the stuff from Stockholm etc is just überdark stuff combined with the overproduction (subjective opinion ofc) we like to do in Sweden (in the case of hiphop there's too much autotune and shit for my liking).
