Felt for the guy - really tough debut. Hope he's given time to prove that first impression to be false.

Lack of pace was a concern though, and didn't look massively comfortable on the ball.

I’m actually really pissed off with Fab on this.. I’d struggle to think of a worse situation to come on and make your PL debut than tonight . 0-1 down, throwing bodies forward , and against a team that loves to play on the break .. a team that bought on Watkins and Asencio .. will have done nothing for his confidence or the support he will now not get from sections of the fan base. Felt very sorry for him but think it was unnecessary risk/pressure on a player ..

Struggled but hardly surprising given the limited amount of football.

Very early days, but not the best start, looks more of a defensive midfielder shape wise, than a CB.

Not 'Tug Boats' fault. We knew when he was bought he was slow on the ball and he misjudged the ball down the line and was never going to catch up. Shame for him and us but we were all made aware from his Derby days regarding his lack of pace and ability to turn. Therefore it was of little surprise what happened.

I'm pretty certain this summer a new centre back and right back will be high up on the agenda.

I guess it’s game time management with Dunk.

Unfortunately he’s nowhere near even Championship standard, so the question is why did we buy him.

This is on the recruitment team and coaches. The lad is what he is (slow, short and naive). So he shouldn’t be here.

Fab said it was TB’s signing at the time which kind of distanced himself from the off.
As soon as Igor is back he won’t be on the bench.
