2 left wingers.. hmm

No right wingers or forwards

And no Baleba..

Fuming.. Gruda! Starts..

I've got pints across goals for/against against a villa fan.. 😢

Fab is clueless.. Gruda should be playing in the u21s if he wants game time.

Interesting selection.

I fear tonight may prove how fortunate we have been that Carlos Baleba has shown such development and been so physically robust.

Blimey, Baleba not starting. I am thinking that’s a mistake
Baleba is often subbed with 10-15 left because he's knackered. Against Nottingham he played for 120 minutes and never stopped running. Pretty sure he is benched out of necessity.

One of the best things about it, is keeping a number of people (still spending) outside for longer, relieving rhe pressure on all the other stuff inside.
If by inside you mean the concourses, I haven’t noticed any difference in the east stand concourse

Hurzeler obviously knows them all more than us,but Weiffer would seem like the more obvious replacement. I wonder if were got some mad plan in place.

West is nice and open. But that may well be all the lightweights pretending to get stuck on the A27 not turning up.

I dunno Hurzeler is a bit of a maverick who knows what his thinking is

Not loving that lineup, but I'm sure plenty of players are gassed after that quarter final.

Hoping the Villa players are too busy thinking about the upcoming FA Cup semi final and Champions League quarter final to turn up today.

It's almost as if some believe that Fab sets his line up intentionally to p1ss off a minority of supporters! He's got all the info from the medical team and knows the players - unfortunately some just see them as robots

Mats Wheelchair has played 70 minutes of football in four months, don't see much obvious about starting him.

Gruda will need to drift out to the right to support like in ET against forest. Risk then of leaving Ayari and Gomez to cover a lot.

Obviously not our best team but players so need to be rested. Would take a point for sure.

Yes.

If he were ever fit enough to start. Sadly He's played about an hour of football since Christmas.

Just physical presence. He's always looked athletic and combative when he's come on.

Ayari gets regularly overran even with Baleba behind him.
Weiffer looks like a liability when he comes on giving stupid free kicks away and picking up yellows within 5 minutes of playing.
Accident waiting to happen.
Ayari is weak in the challenge and gets bullied. Would like to see £33m Matt O given a chance.

We get more points when Ayari is playing compared to when he isn't. He's been part of a winning team all season and won't get randomly benched for a player who was injured a few days ago and haven't been able to stay fit or play significant amount of minutes all season, the "physical presence" thing sounds almost like satire. Picking Ayari is a no-brainer imo.
