I honestly don't mind them. Galling to listen to them singing at the end as the crowd took AGES to filter out. But a good old club. They get the best out of those players.

I thought both teams were pretty poor to be honest, they had the best of the first half and I thought we edged most of the 2nd and extra time. Two tired teams standing still punching. No surprise it was decided on pens really.

Met a fair few of their fans and they were all sound. Slightly less impressed with some of our mega-brains who decided to throw coins at some of their fans in the train queue for having the temerity to sing about going to Wembley.

I'm a big fan of their right back. He's excellent. A knackered looking Mitoma and Adingra got nothing off him at all and his ability to get out of tight problematic situations is ridiculous.
Coins you say? I can’t remember the last time I had coins in my pocket.

My eldest can focus on his GCSEs. Grateful.
That's a new one, I have to say.

'Now we're out the Cup we can focus on the GCSEs'

I’m ok with result for 3 reasons

1. Couldn’t go to Semi
2. Feared getting beaten by them lot at Wembley
3. Reassuringly Albion ie never won anything last century and we remain on track for this one too…it’s still my club :)

2 and 3 for me too... a third for me being saving a couple of ton on going to Wembley - a definite silver lining with life being bloody expensive with young kids!

Firstly: NSC hasn’t been full of such overconfident talk.

Secondly: Defeat is always followed swiftly by your appearance on a match-related thread. Where have you been since we last played Forest?

Edit: Just checked, and your posts in the 6 weeks since we started winning have fallen off a cliff. 25 in total, mostly non-football related and none revelling in the aftermath of any of our 6 wins and draw at City.

You sad sad man.
Luckily.....

Yep, definitely a huge saving and frankly getting there for a 3rd time in 8 years…getting a bit boring really :)

Just imagine that lot winning the FA Cup?
Yep, but if they did and it was against us or even knocking us out beforehand then I’m not sure I could continue to live in the UK never mind still support the Albion! (And believe me, if we played ‘em we would f*** it up. No question. Because we just would.)

He's basically the reincarnation of Peter Shilton. Never saves pens, and never LOOKS like he'll save one. Might as well hang a bead curtain off the crossbar.
As someone mentioned in this thread he saved a pen for Holland this week

I had a lovely afternoon with some fine chaps.
The atmos was great despite the poor quality match.

Onwards and upwards.

Have to say im more disppointed than annoyed.....
Not much between the teams tonight. Hoping that it doesnt adversely impact on Wednesday night as still all to play for.

Biggest disappointment for me was Minteh. Played like he had won a competition to be on the Amex pitch. Works hard but had all the quality of an overturned car. Hoping Gruda / Solly can play that role on Wednesday
