So all that shit stirring stuff about Macron insisting it should be linked to fishing rights is bollocks.
It was old* news and even then France’s position wasn’t getting much support within the EU.

* From January, when the world was a very different place

An update from the UK Ministry of Defense on the International Fund for Ukraine, a multi national fund for the procurement and supply of military equipment.
The UK is the lead and administers the fund. To me this is a sign that, despite Brexit, EU countries are happy the UK is heavily involved in a defense leadership role across Europe. (whether or not we are the best country to take the lead on procurement is a different question).
Can we please stop spelling defence the American way? It grates massively with me.

I think under Biden Europe was happy for the US to take the lead, but now bumble**** is playing silly buggers, Europe is organising itself and the UK is taking the lead. Politically this may make it easier for the EU where a number of countries want to lead. The fact that the UK aren’t in the EU it sort of makes sense.
If it all goes horribly wrong, the EU can blame the UK!

Not at all ? Whatever makes you say that ? Could it be the post where I said “Putin is a c*** Trump is a c**** Zelenskyy is a c*** “

Hard to see where you got confused to be honest
you could actually be bothered to put together a silly montage, but not explain it. you are incoherent at best

There was an article in the sports section of The Times today regarding the Russian football team. Despite being banned their FIFA ranking has risen to 34th on account of them playing friendlies against noddy teams, all of whom are well paid to travel to Russia.

The latest to do so were Grenada who were beaten 5-0 in the week. Propaganda in the Russian media however apparently claimed that Grenada's head of state, King Charles, personally gave approval for them to go to Russia and play.

Steve Witless is at it again. This man is ridiculously stupid.

If thugs came around to your house and put a gun to your head suggesting you sign up to being a Palace fan, it’s amazing how many Albion fans would change their lifetime allegiance.

Do they still not get World News in the USA?

Ok, so you think we should send in European troops now.

Which countries do you think should send them, how many should they send, how long will it take to kick Russia out, and how many Allied lives will be lost? (obviously I'm not expecting you to know those answers, but you need to be able to guess, if that's what you're saying we should do).
I really don’t “need to be able to guess”.

Suffice it to say, it would entail loss of life. Of course it would.

But the fight is going to happen.

I’d rather it be sooner than later.

I agree he's a witless ****, but there is an element of truth to this. I remember taking to a nice Ukrainian tiler well over a decade ago, and while we were just chatting shit he was very determined to make clear that he was Russian Ukrainian, not Ukrainian Ukrainian despite me offering no encouragement or even an opening to such information.

Be interesting to know if he still feels the same

My father in law was Russian by birth, but became a naturalised Ukrainian later. He was proud of his Russian heritage but never wanted Russia to invade.
