1 just woke up !
Good point or 2 dropped ?
I have read the match commentary, looks like it could have gone either way.
Will watch replay for breakfast.

Good morning
Arguably 2 dropped
But yes could gone either way
Least you can fast forward through the Arsenal time-wasting. Only 7 mins of actual football in 1st half because of this. Pathetic from a supposed title challenger (they’re not, they really aren’t). Ref was appalling btw. As was the weather.

The decision to give Joao Pedro the captaincy paid off brilliant IMHO.
Raised his game with the added responsibility.
Pleased to read this, I was a bit baffled by that at first as I find him a bit childish at times. But he is just passionate, so it's great he raised his game.

Couldn't watch today as was away, however, am very pleased to see the positivity.

Fab, love the fire in your belly here but if your players aren’t STARTING the game with the desired intensity and/or not sustaining it for 90 minutes some of that IS down to you.

Trust the process whatever that is? Sleepwalk into fighting it out for 16th 17th in the table?
I know we had a much better 2nd half. however, my quote of FH was put out there due to frustrations of our decline. I'm sure we have to be patient, but I haven't warmed to him really and that's annoying for me because I want too. I really don't think we'll get Europe this year, and that for me is down to the manager, although injuries haven't helped. I SO hope I eat these words and look a mug at the end of the season, mind.

Do you think Europe was the aim this season?

Like others have said… we were far better second half once the substitutions were made. Lots more physicality and pace to our game.
I do genuinely wonder if this was a FH plan… Contain them first half them hit them with raw pace and energy second half

I doubt it, FH has said many times he wants 100% intensity for the whole game, not just one half or the other, which has consistently been the case.

I’m of the opinion that we are More hoping for Europe this season. The bosses are realistic men and will know it will take time for all of the new guys (FH included) to settle in.

Agreed but I thought he had also said that our fitness levels were not there yet. With this in mind, playing the half’s with a different plan would seem viable.
We will no doubt get there at some point

My thots

1. First half we were so SLOW. The passing from Bart to JPVH, to Igor, to Pervis, back to Igor, to Bart, to Veltz back to JPVH, back to Igor etc.... just drove me nuts. No forward momentum. No closing down when they had the ball - we just stood off them in the first half.

2. Second half we actually ran at them, closed them down and gave them no time. We passed the ball quicker and seemed to have more drive and intensity.

3. When we are on it, we're bloody good.

4. Ayari sat infront of the defence in the first half with Baleba higher up. Second half they swopped and Ayari took the 2nd half kick off

5. Stonewall pen. Saliba headbutts Pedro stopping Pedro from running onto the ball he headed down.. You'd get done for ABH for that in the pub.

6. Pervis not with it ATM. He lost the ball several times and when he lost it, didn't track back. At one point he lost it right by their box and jogged back. Pedro was level with him but took off like a gazelle, caught their player on the halfway line and it went out for a throw in, stopping their breakaway.

7. Webster coming on I thought was going to be a nightmare. But he had an excellent game and looked to release us as quickly as possible. Igor, JPVH, Estupinian and Dunk need to take note.

8. Adringa - gets himself in great positions and has a wonderful turn of speed but final ball is woeful time and again.

9. Arse time wasting again and again from the 16th min at 1-0 up? What's that about? They were all over us, you'd have thought they'd go for the kill. But we turned up in the 2nd half and it backfired. Happy with a draw in the end.

Bloody awful weather coming back on a bike, not felt so cold in a long time.

Yes the arse came close to scoring from their corners again but I did like the thinking on our approach there.
Three of our players close to halfway taking three of theirs out the box as well and making their crowd of players and sneaky blocking main threat out the equation.

Highly enjoyable day out. Packed pub in “dry” Jan, trains worked, witnessed the promised hug between @Harry Wilson's tackle and @Bozza and atmosphere was decent IMO.

First half we had very little threat up front and no real focal point. Their goal was poor, another instance of diving in and not winning it and Bart should save the shot.

Luckily the right two players were binned off. Looked quicker and more direct with Minteh and suddenly Pedro had help from Rutter. Great all round second half and a deserved point. On to Norwich!
