[Albion] The third goal was offside?

It was offside.

But it’s irrelevant given we conceded three utterly terrible non-offside ones. That’s more worrying.

Focusing on the third goal is pathetic though.
The first goal was offside too. The linesman forgot his briefing and raised his flag. The tv didn’t show a decent angle in the replays.

It wasn’t offside. Lamptey clearly plays him on.

I think we'll probably have to accept the first one. Even my home-made snip and sketch rule looks as though it was onside.

How is it pathetic? Its a goal that shouldn't have counted and its being rightly pointed out
I’d say it’s pathetic to say it’s pathetic…..we must obey those who know best and of course if you criticise those who are critical that’s criticised ……they are beyond criticism.

Ps looked offside to me and given little attention at the time by the two tnt commentators….but we must not be critical they know best

Yes. First goal. Easily onside. A very well timed run.

Third goal. Obviously offside. Massive VAR cock up with procedures not followed. Again

It really wasn't. Lamptey was playing him on and I suspect Dunk too.
The third was quite obviously off though and I don't see why it makes anyone a bad loser to make that claim
Look at post 28, although you can’t see where the ball is. Lamptey was facing the wrong way and Dunk is anticipating the ball coming in, so why was the Roma player already setting off? His fellow player was well offside, but I’m not counting him.

Not the point of the thread. But just look at the gaps in that picture.

Surely this one is down the positioning of Van Hecke, next to the centre circle. We're playing with effectively one centre half and two full backs.

Van Hecke, i'm guessing has been told to be like Stones and go into midfield sometimes, I doubt he would have done that off his own volition. His correct positioning should be 5 yards to the left of Dunk. Exactly where the ball goes.

If you look at the 4th goal, there's a similar story.

Yes, I've seen that post. I've seen it on TV a fair few times too. Not sure how it's up for consideration.

Bold to watch us defend for the rest of the game and think we wouldn’t have conceded at least once more.
We may well of done or , as we were having a good spell, we may have halved the defecit. Thanks to a terrible var decision we’ll never know.
