Incidentally do you have a fave act that has never released a singly track you don't absolutely love? For me Prefab Sprout come close, Fraunhofer Diffraction very close, The Opposition ridiculously close, but Mr Kitty wins. Mr Kitty is musical glory.

Indeed - am album that used to benefit from a few Dexys to enhance listening and speedy movement back in the day.

I love the story about the sax player: He was offered a choice of either a flat fee to play that in the recording studio, or a percentage of the royalty from the song release.

It turned out to be probably the most iconic sax solo in musical history. Guess which option he went for?

I'd also like to thank you for last week posting that Siouxie song, Israel on this thread, which has given me ear worm for the last 4 days. I'd forgotten how good Siouxie and the Banshees were.
