The wheels came off Mickey Adams bus pretty quickly after 2 away wins. Southend away was my daughter's first game when she was 4 months old.

I took my beautiful daughter to Bath Spa University to enrol this day…To start her educational studies. She’s done so well…… I’m going to ring her now. I remember sitting in the car trying to enjoy the day, It was disastrous. We’d come a day early and I had to get a B and B in Frome. I couldn’t do it all again the next day. Cost me an arm and a leg in the only available place …. Some sort of Somerset mansion.

Were you not at Fans United 2 at Gillingham 0-0 vs Doncaster Rovers arguably the worst team to ever play in the Football League, and they got a point against us 🙈

Oh, bloody hell! Don’t remind me. I’d been living overseas between 2001 and 2008. I got back in August and this was my first Brighton home match (I sneaked back for the playoff final) in eight years.

I remember thinking this is just so Brighton. :p

The heart of football. Valentines Day 1998. I chucked a card at my then Girlfriend, now wife and went off to make that awful journey to watch that disgrace. She wasn't happy. 25 years later, she still mentions it. I've always told her that it could have been worse. I could have invited her.

Bloody hell.

We took our son to Silverstone and raced the car in Nov 2005, he was 8 weeks old. . . people thought that was harsh!

FWLIW he slept through virtually all of it.

My wife had broken her arm the week before, but we'd already booked the hotel and train so just went for it.
