True. But it's the last preseason game with a starting lineup that is likely very close to what we'll put out against Luton next week.

It would be reassuring if we looked very nearly ready rather than still working stuff out.
Improving fitness, tweaks to tactics and getting through this without injuries is the main aim of the day. The last preseason is never anything other than a run out.

I'm late to the party and when I started the stream YouTube indicated that 59K were watching already. For a friendly that seems... substantial. Maybe it's mostly Rayo Vallecano fans, but if it's not Barber really should start planning for extra tiers on all four stands.

Pedro looks lively, seems to link up well with wellbeck. Dahoud has been off the pace, Steele has not been convincing at all. Dunk rusty too.
I know it's a friendly and only a week away from the season starting so I get why they're holding back a bit.
