Fisherman’s tales abound, but surely it can now only be a matter of TIME before a Palace Pier jumper is gobbled up by JAWS, and a new TERROR to rival Southern Water is FOUND off our MASSIVE coast?
I don't think the typical human will be exactly calm about it either. It’s coming:
Will the climate emergency really drive great white sharks towards British waters?
Rising sea temperatures caused by greenhouse effect prompting predators to seek out cooler habitatswww.independent.co.uk
UK great and common seals are going to be in for one hell of a shock when a population is established.
Did you punch it?I don't think the typical human will be exactly calm about it either.
Can't remember where I saw it recently (might have been springwatch), saying that triggerfish (fairly common group of tropical fish that scuba divers might know) are now being seen in British waters. They're territorial and one bit me on the head once when I was scuba diving (didn't hurt but there was a mark to prove it).
I was too slow. Don't think Muhammad Ali would have got close to that bugger.Did you punch it?
I made the mistake of watching the video. BrutalHorrific shark attack in Egypt the other day which claimed the life of a Russian person. . Again so close to the shore.
Me too. Not recommended.I made the mistake of watching the video. Brutal
There have been several caught in recent years down the west country... I've seen Tuna leaping and chasing Garfish down south Cornwall the last two years... only a matter of time.I don't think the typical human will be exactly calm about it either.

Migrating triggers have been caught quite regularly since the 70's on rod and line. Most summers there are numerous reports of so called 'warm water' species showing up throughout the channelI don't think the typical human will be exactly calm about it either.

Great that tuna are back. Hopefully we can avoid over fishing them. There have been several caught in recent years down the west country... I've seen Tuna leaping and chasing Garfish down south Cornwall the last two years... only a matter of time.
The last couple of years we have been reminded by the Mousehole Harbour Master that it is illegal to land them here in the UK....amazing when you see them hitting Garfish shoals.....the Gars go skittering over the surface then whoosh !Great that tuna are back. Hopefully we can avoid over fishing them.
