Can't see it myself - I'm not sure how they could afford the transfer fee and I would guess he'd earn more with us too.

Anyway mentioned briefly here...

...and from a bit of further searching, it was mentioned here back at the end of March:

"That Roma has in mind a revolution in the bands (including the right) is demonstrated by the attention with which they follow the Ecuadorian Pervis Josué Estupiñán Tenorio, 25, left-back of De Zerbi's Brighton, which however costs no less than twenty million," says the Paneta Roma portal, which takes as a reference information from La Gazzetta dello.

They're right to be interested, but there's no deal they could offer which tempt us to sell.

Not sure if this is folly or not, but I'm really not worried about anyone else leaving bar Moises. Just can't see us selling anyone else in this window, two superstars is enough.

I don't think he'd be interested in a downwards move, and it's a Roma fan site so I'm sure they report plenty of "interests" in good players

It would be more of a sideways move. They're still a bigger club than us - probably can offer slightly more money. Also in the Europa League.

Where this falls over is that there is absolutely no way they could afford his transfer fee. Would imagine we would be rejecting £40m upwards.

They do need to strengthen, although it may take a while. Roma wasn't built in a day.

All things being equal (wages, current status as Europa league qualifiers) I can't see any black player choosing to play in Italy. The monkey noises from the dickheads at various crumbling Italian stadiums would soon become pretty tiring/upsetting I would think.
