Possibly the first opportunity for a nice bit of 'closed season look at me', but having just glanced at the 'they'll never take me alive' advertising thread, which brands do have you handing over your cash?

Don't worry @Bozza I've got you covered - Apple!

Can this apply to simply preferring a product over a competitors? For example Branston’s beans are king, Hellman’s mayonnaise, HP sauce…

Purely for brands, Sony never let me down.

Apple - tech stuff.
Nike - running shoes and gear.
Encona - chilli sauce to put on, well, pretty much everything.
Coke Zero - Pepsi products can do one.
Brighton & Hove Albion - football.

Done a Frexit, now in London
I have. a few 'go to' brands for things, probably a right fanboy in some ways.

Carhartt Wip, Saxx, Stance, Nike (trainers only)

Apple fanboy too (and make my money using them)

I tend to find stuff that works, fits well and I like and then just stick with it. I will have the same jumper in 3 colour ways for instance and I will do the same if I find a pair of jeans that fit well.

Agreed generally, except Apple Tango which is increasingly rare now anyway.

Another thing I discovered actually, tangentially related, is I like to buy the product the brand specialises in and give their other secondary products a wide berth. Eg Levi’s jeans but not their shirts, a Dyson vacuum but not their fans, that sort of thing.

Nike trainers are the best.

Joseph and Joseph does genuinely high quality and sometimes innovative kitchen and bathroom stuff. British brand.

Samsung seems to be the best quality entry level electronics brand out there.

Agreed, Gucci do not make watches, nor Mercedes make aftershave. I have one exception though, Mont Blanc Traveller Eau de Parfum.
