It's not a nice feeling when you lose (your job) but suffering is part of the process, he will take the positives (bundles of cash), and move on. It's just a shame it wasn't us that banged the final nail in his coffin though.

I'm delighted but slightly disappointed in equal measure. Would have been confident in getting one over on them in a couple of weeks and taking the piss, not now.

So the compensation they paid us worked out at £3 million a month. Plus his wages and whatever pay off Potter gets means this has been a expensive, and hilarious, failure.

Personally I’m glad he left us, or we wouldn’t have got De Zerbi. I don’t think Potter would have done what DZ has done.
I have some sympathy with Potter because, given time and more of a free hand and less interference, he would have brought Chelsea round. They have dug a big hole for themselves and the owners are to blame for the shit state they have got into. Bottom half of the table?! Jees, the amount of money they have spent!
i think he will struggle mentally over this and I wouldn’t wish that on anybody. It will take a long time for him to recover, perhaps the money will help, but I don’t think so.

Nasty anti-semitism

Can this not be another Swansman thread please? Cheers
No - will wipe him and his smug ramblings from my memory…

Potter & Swansman go in the same day - Couldn’t have written it!

All those that said Bruno wasn’t going to be caretaker manager for us. He now has a bigger gig
