I have just logged on to my Albion account and the membership to join for me is £34 and my daughter £24 and runs out 31st May this year.
would I be then more or less guaranteed tickets for the semi final still and final if we go there, do you think ?
£54 quid for a chance to buy tickets seems a bit high, but that will teach me I guess.
Yep - anyone who is a 2022/23 member, as you are, would be able to buy.

Another email, I've just dug out...

The last remaining tickets for Albion’s Emirates FA Cup semi-final with Manchester City will go on general sale at 11am tomorrow, subject to availability.
My Albion+ 2019/20 members are also invited to purchase up to two guest tickets, also from 11am on Wednesday morning.
Following receipt of an additional allocation of 1,500 tickets, and a further release of restricted view tickets from the FA, a range of tickets went on sale to supporters with a purchase history at 11am this morning.
There are now limited tickets still available, priced from £30 in the upper tier, up to £80 in the lower tiers (those aged under 21 or over the age of 65 receive a £10 discount on the adult price and restricted view tickets are discounted by £10).
The quickest, easiest and cheapest way to book your tickets is to select your seat at BrightonAndHoveAlbion.com/tickets
Tickets may also be ordered by telephone on 03333 200 750 (calls are charged at National rate). Supporters with a disability should call 0344 324 6282.
No booking fees will be charged when buying online. A £1.50 per ticket fee is chargeable for telephone bookings.
With the use of a mailing house required to fulfil the large quantity of match tickets in a short time, a further £2.50 postage fee will apply per booking.
All supporters under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a full-paying adult. Please note that concession tickets cannot be upgraded and adult tickets cannot be downgraded under any circumstances.
Please note tickets will not be available to book in person.

I'm not so sure. London Marathon weekend so would screw up a lot of charity work.

Anyway this thread is seriously tempting fate
It’s not as I’ve caveated.

Reason I’m asking early is due to me not being able to attend the Liverpool match and potentially Grimsby either so wanted a view on tickets ahead of time as to priorities.

It’s my eldest birthday around the time of the semi so keen to know as to make it a birthday weekend to remember (hopefully 1) getting there and 2) a result on the day)

Anyone know how many Albion STH and A+ members there are?

I think demand for the semi last time was bigger as it was our final. No chance of beating City and so everyone wanted to go to this game, and everyone who wanted a ticket got a ticket. I managed 3 but I can only get 1 at the highest LP level. It was a case of many buying their own first and the getting more for family later which is what I done and swopped seats in the ground with someone. Swopping seats, those were the days!

Last time I had no problem getting an extra 3 tickets for casual fans, none of who were Albion+ members at the time. Yes, we have picked up a bit of support in the last 5 years - there'll certainly be plenty of enthusiastic Japanese fans there - but I'd be surprised if it's not a case of everyone who wants a ticket getting one if they buy as soon as they become eligible.

After City and what was my first game at New Wembley, I vowed to never return for another semi final.

Nothing has change to alter that, the semis should NEVER be played there.
I shall be watching our triumphant return, after demolishing Grimsby, on t'telly.

What pub is everyone drinking in?
I’m not going to that terrible place up on the hill again, that’s for sure - I forget the name. I got absolutely smashed last time, they had bar girls walking around selling shots.
I hardly remember Wembley……

Agreed Wembley is sh*te for semi finals but on the flip side it does mean more fans of both teams can be there, if they want to be !

i remember lots if hysterics last time from people who’d ”been an Albion supporter since I was a nipper, watched them in 1976 at the Goldstone, but just because I’ve not seen them lately (since 1976), why shouldn’t I get priority? Why do all these JCLs with all their so-called loyalty points get first dibs? It’s not FAIR!!” I think most people then who wanted a ticket got one.

Anyway, it’s all academic, cos Grimsby are going to beat us.

Final tickets available here (it says 2022 but I do think they mean 2023!) for anyone that confident, down the pecking order for such things and with a few spare grand lying around:
