I don’t think you guys here in England appreciate how special it is to have a king . Particularly as Charles seems such a nice man who only wants to do good . I’m respectful of him and the position he holds even if he isn’t my King as I’m not English .

I’m surprised there isn’t more patriotism here . With your history there really should be .
This is obviously a joke? Nothing gets up my nose more than spending public money on pomp and bullshit whilst wages decline and the welfare state crumbles into private hands. I just think of Mobutu or Marcos in golden palaces. Our history is one of aristocratic parasites carving up the land and driving us into the cities to choke on factory fumes. Come on you super seagulls.

Forget that! The whole lot of them can get in the bin.

the service will be done by lunchtime, plenty of time to do both if so inclined.

I will be doing all I can to avoid the ridiculous Royal pantomime.

Bunch of overpriviliged ****s flouncing about in gold hats and gowns.

Meanwhile Co-Op have started putting baby formula behind the counter because desperate mothers are resorting to stealing it so they can feed their babies.

No thanks. I wouldn’t give a shit if the whole Royal family went over a cliff. We’d be rid of a few ponces and nonces.

King of what a load of corrupt nose in the trough politicians?
He should be asking hard questions like why are his people getting fleeced by energy companies when gas is at an 18 month low. Probably has millions invested in said companies that’s why.
Quite the contrary. Could have made up to a billion but gave it to the people.

I am not a huge royalist and will go to see the match if it's on that day, but this thread is like a political thread in that it draws the most extreme views, it's unrepresentative of the general public.

The Amex covers both because

(a) You watch the Albion
(b) From what I hear, there is loads of Charlie at The Amex

I just talked to Tyler Perry and he said in a deep but female Medea voice that "Sure, sugar, you can fly commercial with Harry and attend the coronation together. Harry is looking for some rather ordinary people to go with him."

I told Tyler "no way, there's nothing ordinary about me."

THis . . .in spades. I'm sure Steve will have a few words to say 😉

TBH I had to look it alll up, I had no idea Chas3 had the audacity to clash with proper events
Steve Mason at the Concorde 2

If the Everton game is confirmed as 3pm I'll have that as well.
Brilliant timing. I will look forward to his views on this.

Seen him a couple of times over here. One particular gig I got talking to him in the bar afterwards. There was a couple who had caught a bus all the way from Prague to see him as well. After about quarter of an our talking to us all he said, I’ll go and get my rider. We then sat for more time talking to him eating his sandwiches, crisps and drinking his red wine. He is such a lovely and witty guy.

King. It's a historic event and I want to watch it.

Pretty sure the games will get moved anyway.

We can have both if you want to watch the Coronation, watch it, if you want to go to footy go - certainly shouldn't be postponed. If it went ahead the ground would be full as usual.

Also with our economy on its arse we could do without the 3rd Royal BH in 12 months

So when can we expect our cheques in the post? It’s nonsense.
