However, his BIZARRE post-match interview was so so....umm....bizarre.

Basically "I told the directors why they should hire me and the type of football we would play and I've gone against that because I didn't want to upset the PL footballers"

No, Dyche was perfect for Everton. Southampton are looking to try and get back to what they were able to do in their early PL years this time around. They spent the last couple of windows signing the best young players from various academies. It isn't a bad idea but trying to change philosophy overnight will always have risks. They needed to get the appointment right and it doesn't look as though they have, I can't think of any time that a manager has pulled a situation as dire as Jones' right now.

Except maybe Hassenhuttl after the 9-0 defeat to Leicester, the 9-0 loss to Man Utd didn't really seem to stir as much of a response.

But they don't have a PL standard goalkeeper, it's very hard to survive without a decent goalie. They might have talented youngsters but they're a team so desperately reliant on Ward-Prowse at set-pieces. It's pretty poor and they're inevitably going down with Bournemouth, who looked totally short on quality on Saturday but Traore looked good.

Well from Nathan's point of view, he is ambitious and obviously wanted to give it a try, & was highly unlikely to make it to the Premier League with little old Luton l wouldn't have thought.

Doubtless even if he does end up with his P45 by the end of today, his bank balance is going to be a n awful lot better off.
