I think it was a penalty too and MacAllister’s one vs Liverpool was also a foul. They both should’ve been given to be honest.

Needed that bit of luck today in a very average performance. But a home win to nil is absolutely terrific!
If it was the incident in the second half involving Pervis then I disagree ..shoulder to shoulder ..unlike last week which was fore arm to back of head

I feel you might think differently seeing a replay, if your view was live at the game. It was a barge in the back with his shoulder. The player was in front of him. We were fortunate.

Pawson was cnt throughout.

Falling for every semi-dive, allowing 30 seconds per Bmuff free kick, a minute per Bmuff goal kick, subs pigeon stepping off, THAT UNPUNISHED PUSH by the dugouts almost leading to a win to Bmuff, protecting their goalie, not yellow carding diving.
Anyone taking a close look at The Pawson's Arms will find many Palace tattoos

I thought their player made a move in towards Pervis which would explain why they were not given a penalty. However, if it had been the other way around I would have been very unhappy!

So much talk about schemes to end time-wasting at the moment and, as usual, they make it far too complicated. The first time a player kicks a ball away or feigns an injury, book them. Don’t wait to make a big show of it in the last 10 minutes. Makes it tough for the ref not to send someone off in the rest of the game but that’s on the players. They’ll soon learn and we won’t get cheated out of a flowing match, which has become the norm these days.

I was just about to post the same thing. Assuming he didn't take pity on us having to play all the injury time, then 4 minutes was absolutely scandalous. Incompetence of the highest order - I simply don't understand how these useless turds are so hopeless at dealing with time wasting - as I've often said it's the easiest part of their job. He was also pretty useless throughout and almost cost us a goal when he was the only one in the entire stadium not to spot the shove on the half way line.
Veltman would have expected a foul there but there’s playing for and drawing it to overdoing the dramatics which is what he did,

No was not a pen, shoulder barge
It wasn’t given, so no pen. I respectfully disagree with shoulder to shoulder. Shoulder to back, if that had been against us I’d have been furious,

Correct. And the foul on Welbeck by NW corner - exactly same as a foul he gave for them later in the game in the middle of the pitch - got pelters for it, rightfully. Well done to those who booed him off - 2 weeks running we’ve won and had shockingly poor officials.

Looking back to Old Trafford and that one on Welbeck that was far far far more blatant, I’d have been screwing if that had been given tbh.

Agreed. Their player seemed to have - at one point - his left arm across the front of Estupinan. Not sure it restricted him much (well it obviously didn't!) but I wonder whether that was enough for it not to be given. Close run thing though!

Yes my view was a “live at the game” …I’ll hopefully get a chance to look at it again….although judging from replies from those who have it’s a mixed bag….opinions eh

Seems odd that bad refereeing is always called out but only lists poor decisions against Albion. Do the referees always make the right decisions for the teams who are playing against us ?

Sounds like we should have won every game this season to me. The referees have denied us an 'invincibles' season. It's a conspiracy.

Was it Pawson that gave that dodgy penalty against Elphick when we played Bournemouth at Withdean. Think we were top of the league under Poyet at the time. He jumped with Fletcher and there was a dubious handball that was actually outside the box. Not been a huge fan of his since then, but apologies to him if it was in fact a different ref!

He made some gaffs one of which may or may not of been a penalty for Bournemouth.
