Only source is the Mail but would fit that Welbeck/Lallana/Veltman type signing . Wages though ? He’s 29 and 30 in August. Also are we short of winger/forwards ? Even after Trossard exit ?

Hmmmmm, when was the last time he had a run of good performances? Perhaps worth it if the deal is right, bait what does he have left in the tank.

There's a reason he's free.
Well at the moment the interest in clubs, apparently, is dependent on him being offered on a free transfer. His contract runs out this summer. Perhaps RDZ was impressed with him when he started against us last week. :)

All the reasons why we shouldn’t sign him are the exact same ones people used for not signing Lallana and Welbeck who have both turned out to be excellent buys. It’s a yes from me.
Absolutely. Like Welbeck and Lallana he'll come with a winners mentality and obvious quality. Can pay in midfield or out wide. Big yes from me

I thought he was older than 29 tbh.

It would be interesting signing, he seems a nice kid and has won trophies, very much along Lallana and Welbeck line. He could probably help 'mentor' our younger players too.

A possible signing that no Albion fans or pundits have considered.
Yet if his workload is managed carefully there's no doubt that he is a quality player with loads of experience. He seems to be a decent person from a good family.
If we could get him on a free transfer and he could play 15/20 games a season I think a lot of clubs will be wondering why they didn't do it.
Welbeck and Lallana are great examples of how experience can supplement our squad of youngsters.

It's a yes from me.
