Good local derby at the Pan. Lewes race into a two goal lead after 8 minutes(another great strike from Razz) Bognor pull one back. Lewes have more of the rest of the game but finishes 2-2 after what Appeared a non existent foul gives Bognor a pen. Bognor win the shout-out as Nelson manages to have his penalty saved twice
I reckon the pen was legitimate but I was 5 pints in so cant be fully trusted.

In with the Rocks in the Philcox for the shootout and despite the result I thoroughly enjoyed it. No excuse for the double save IMO, both were soft.

I was impressed with the Bognor keeper, made a couple of excellent saves, and was very good all round. And he's just 17

Seaford Town and Chessington and Hook finished 2-2 at the Crouch, according to their Twitter.

I saw the first half, which was really dire stuff, with C&H on top, hitting the bar in an otherwise desperately poor first half. Then Seaford scored from a freekick right on half time - but I was far too f***ing cold to sit/stand through any more of that. £5 in and free sandwiches and Cadbury’s mini rolls (which I didn’t partake in) so can’t complain.

Also the fattest, oldest and shittest linesman I’ve ever seen at this level. Embarrassing to watch.

Enjoyed the game at Newhaven today v Eastbourne Town. Newhaven the better side with the better chances, but ET defended well and Newhaven only scored in the last few minutes. Still tight at the top but Newhaven lost a bit of ground on the leaders.

Well done for persevering with the match. However, whilst not at that level, I’d bet that I’m fatter, older and more shit at running the line than the guy you saw today.

I think thbat we should all be grateful that anyone is prepared to do the job considering the little financial reward and maximum amaount of abuse they recieve from players and spectators alike.

Yes l agree that the standard isn't very good, but without them we would have no football to watch.

The Lewes penalties were comedy. The fourth taker seem to think it a great idea to start with his back to the keeper. He failed. Twice. As the keeper was ruled to be off his line he was given a chance to redeem himself, and so repeated the technique. Mad. Lewes should have put the game to bed.

Were you being paid £38 for it?

Yeah Lewed should have done. There was only on team in that game. Bognor had about 1 shot and scored it. Their equalising penalty was never a penalty in a million years. And Lewes absolutely peppered the Bognor goal in the 2nd half. Fair play to the Bognor keeper he made a lot of great saves, especially one in the first half from Joe Taylor at point blank range.

There are some ancient linesmen in SCFL to be fair

There’s one lino in the SCFL who without fail, ask me the QPR score periodically if they are playing at the same time 😂

The move that leads to Bognor's penalty starts at 2:50. Unsurprisingly the video hasn't changed my mind. Never a penalty in a million years, a very very very soft decision and unbelievable that Will Salmon was booked for it.

And he's suspended as well as you can't appeal a booking

What I'm more worried by is, do people really pronounce Bognor as Bog-NORR?
Because if they do I've been saying it wrong for years.

Blimey, just seen that. That's so soft. I wasn't sure if it was a pen or not as I was at the other end, but the ref was right on top of that.

Saw Billingshurst 2 v 1 Arundel at the weekend, a very poor game in difficult pitch conditions
