Twitter rumour - We apparently have another behind closed doors friendly (v Pompey) at 12:15pm today.

Has anyone else heard this?

Not heard the rumour but its possible. Portsmouth don't have a game this weekend either.

We played them in a behind closed doors friendly a few seasons ago at the training ground, Joel Veltman ended up with a black eye, in what I believe was his first game for us.

Makes perfect sense to arrange these friendlies, the squad have been without a game for a long time now and getting ring rusty.

Training is all very well, but l'm sure our new head coach will be keen to see his players in some meaningful action.

I doubt he needs to be involved, can get a lot from just watching the game with the players we have left I imagine before putting together a plan for the whole group back next week
