Yes, most non-smokers can do this.

I think it's a good idea to provide them with a designated area - and I say that as a lifelong non-smoker (whose father, and father-in-law, both died of lung cancer after a lifetime of heavy smoking).

Agreed. As a reluctant ex-smoker (much as I'd love anther puff, even if I wanted to the punitive taxes put it out if my reach!) I think the diminishing group of smokers have been persecuted enough.

Controversial I know but as an ex smoker I agree, smokers are often more fun people. I know non smokers who go out with the smokers when they go for a fag for this reason. Too many non smokers can be self righteous pricks, especially ex smokers. A bit like vegans.

Well call me a prick, but when I worked in an office, the non smokers who went to the smoking shelter were those who were just as keen on skiving as the smokers.

I would be far more accepting of smokers if it wasn't for the majority of them flicking fag ends on to the floor when they finish. They apparently see this as an acceptable form of littering. Throwing something on the floor which has been in your mouth and is usually still on fire.

I find this disgusting and incredibly selfish.

I guess live and let live is dead in the 21st century. Everyone is so fecking judgemental days except for on sexual preferences and racism when most like to be seen as very pc, which is as it should be.

I don’t get it, everyone is different and as long as you’re not an ******** to others anything goes imo. Smokers get WAY too much grief imo.

The classic is that smokers are fine smoking outside bars and clubs in the winter but not in nice weather when they need to feck off and leave the nice outside areas to non smokers.
