It's stripes Jim, but not as we know them.

The big 'H' - are we going to re-brand as Hove Albion? Far too ling a name as it is, and won't it be great not to be little ol' Brighton any more.

(And just to clarify, that's a 'no')

Usually with kits I don’t like them…and they grow on me.

Somehow sadly I don’t think this one will.

Unless it takes us to Europe.
The last time we had a shit kit, we endured the most frustrating, irritating season ever. And even that 2019/20 kit (blue with pinstripes) was better than this one.

Just sayin

I don't understand the need to change the kits radically every season. Liverpool, Man Utd, Rangers etc will only have minor changes, but they will still be the traditional designs of those clubs.

This doesn't look like a Brighton top.

FWIW I showed my parents (not Albion fans but football aware), their instant reaction was “oh God”

Rest assured the youths of Twitter are equally appalled by this horrendous offering. Congratulations on uniting all ages of Brighton fans with a simply toilet design, bravo.

Well the irony is, I bought a mascot package for one of them today... and they get the kit as part of that.

Gonna ask the club he can have an away kit... (but I think we know the answer)

Well, I didn't give an opinion before I got theirs. In fact, I'm still not criticising it at home for the reason above!

I asked this when my lad was mascot (he wanted a GK kit). It was a no. All the kids have to go out in the same kit.

On the kit front, I don't mind it. There's loads worse out there especially that crappy 3rd Citeh training top kit and the Athelitco "Am I pissed or is it wavy" one.

As long as they win in it...

I just wonder why we can’t just have fairly consistent stripes each year. Same colour blue. No yellow on it. People will still buy it even if it’s basically a new version of last seasons. That’s what people who buy these things do right? And realistically how much do we even make from the bloody things? A Cucu toe perhaps?

In a break with tradition, at least it’ll be the first time the players come out holding homemade signs that say “Can I have your shirt please?”
