His deal with us expires in 2023. Cadiz have a option to buy in his loan deal, but given how he’s played can’t see them exercising it.

I guess it depends how optional that option is. Cadiz managed to stay up on the final day so (hopefully) may now be lumped with him if it was based on them staying up. Otherwise, you are correct, hard to imagine them wanting to keep him based on his performances.

Yes I'm sure Cadiz are eager to once again pay top wages (by their standards) for a bloke who first got expelled from the squad due to drinking, fighting and smoking after a loss, then suffered various injuries throughout the seaso,n and played a total of 173 minutes in the league, participating in 5 games (4 losses, 1 draw where they went from leading 3-1 to a 3-3 draw once Andone came on), not spending a minute on the pitch since January. He'll be on the top of their list.

Never got a fair crack of the whip while he was here IMHO. Was shipped out with indecent haste. OK he was a bit of a head case, but was there any real attempt made to channel his aggression into something that would work in the club's favour? Can't see it meself. Personally would take Andone over Maupay as a squad member anyday, there was a fair amount of ability there

You know NOTHING about the effectiveness of Ashley Barnes. Getting rid of Barnes was on a similar level of footballing stupidity as getting rid of Murray. IMHO, like

The teams coming up to the EPL could do a whole lot worse IMHO
He's scored a total of 10 goals in the last 3 years. His only goal this season was the penalty v Villa last week. (has been injured a fair bit but thats from 60 appearances)
You are right about Barnes, although I wouldn't want him now - he's not the same player he was a few years ago. You are completely wrong about Andone though, he's a liability.
