Are you suggesting that masks only work in one direction? I would think that’s a difficult concept to sell anywhere.

This is why we are asked to wear masks.

Then you clearly have no consideration for children.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...blames-significantly-reduced-development.html

And anyone who believes that being forced to wear a mask doesn’t impinge on one’s freedom is…without hurling foul insults…a bit of a numpty.

Firstly, the report says it may be one possible factor, the opportune word is possible, your inability to understand the difference between possible and fact is concerning. Secondly, children effectively spending over a year having on line schooling, without the ability to socialise is the biggest factor. A fact reported repeatably since Covid hit.

Freedom comes with responsibility. Protecting the ‘weak and vulnerable’ should be a civic duty but no, you are worried about your ‘freedoms’. Quiet frankly it’s embarrassing and cringeworthy … and why do I use expletives on this subject in particular.
1. It’s about the only thing that seems to register with you and other freedom loving tinfoil wearing fools.
2. I’m an ex matelot and it’s in my ****ing dna.

I'd suggest you stop getting your COVID opinions spoon fed to you via Peter McCullough Youtube videos. You may just avoid getting sick again if you do.

No it says it could be the case, not that it is. Like I did.

I dont know who Peter McCullough is but it rings a bell... is it the bloke who made Optimus Prime voice in America?

No that's Peter Cullen. Peter McCullough is a Youtube "doctor" that anti-vaxxers think counts as a credible source of "evidence" when they do Youtube "research". He had a proper clusterwank over that study you mentioned and presented it as conclusive proof that the vaccines are dangerous when in reality, one of the very authors of that study (Magnus Rasmussen) specifically said that "There is no reason for anyone to change their decision to take the vaccine based on this study" on the University's very own website.

Anyway, this thread is supposed to be about that fat orange dinlow that used to live in The White House and I think we are digressing here.

In WW2 everybody was issued with a gas mask including tiny babies. Nobody cried about impinging their freedom.

Health workers wear masks all day long. It is a requirement of their employment. I was very grateful to the Eye Hospital recently for a cataract operation where every single person wore a mask, especially in the operating theatre, including me as the conscious patient on the table.

It’s a lot to comprehend, but there is loads more info like this that is publicly available to look into if you’re interested. I would say to discount it is incredibly stupid, especially when it involves the president.

While we’re on the subject…

Do you seriously listen to Fox News ?

It is absolutely f#ckin nonsense that comes out of that Network - They are dangerous and have blood on their hands with regard to what's going on in Ukraine. Their News anchors led Russia to believe that part of the US was on their side if they invaded Ukraine

Eventually. After many months of "it's only a couple of people", "it'll be over in a few days", "it's just like a cold", moving on to "the vaccine is all down to me".

and only once his other big ideas of injecting bleach and sitting under ultra-violet lights, had surprisingly failed to end the pandemic.

I very nearly emigrated to the US (Texas) in 2007 … its when I read crap like this I realise just what a lucky escape I had.
Freedom … comes responsibility … a concept that the selfish amongst you ignore.
It’s not sanctimonious… it’s common sense.

One rule I have tried to follow in life is don't proffer a strong opinion on something about which I know **** all. It saves a great deal of needless unrest.

Yup. It's the certainty that's the problem.
Here's some advice to Swansman: enjoy being wrong, because you can then learn from it; you could even admit that the paleo- nonsense that you've encountered on the Internet and social media puts you in impeccably poor company.
