This thread is a useful release valve for bile and sexism that would ruin the main Ukraine thread. I’m all for containing it in here but won’t engage with these people who happily disseminate Russian propaganda because it suits their domestic bias.

Much as with "Tory Meltdown" this is a thread documenting a historic event and the politicians that are dealing with it that future generations will study.

Yes, she's useless but fortunately the UK is not in the thick of the leadership of the response to Russia's invasion. Probably best that she just agrees to follow whatever Ursula von der Leyen and the EU is doing, she can't come unstuck then giving her more time to pose with tanks and planes.

no she campaigned to remain but after the offer of a ministerial position suddenly thought it was a great idea

I think they are all switched on to the notion dislike of foreigners and being in conflict keeps them on side with their support base, but triggering nuclear warfare could be a step too far, maybe not. As long as they get re-elected....

Apparently the Russians have singled her out as the reason for escalating their nuclear threat yesterday.

She made it clear yesterday that it was fine for British citizens to go to Ukraine and join the fighting.
