Tottenham Hotspur’s v Palace now off on Boxing Day
Palace have 2 covid in back room staff …

That one hasn't even appeared on Fotmob as postponed yet. The other divisions are seeing more and more postponements added though.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see more Premier League games called off tomorrow.

seems crazy that a team with say 3 covid impacted can call the match off but a team like us vs wolves with only one covid but 6 others out had to play. frankly i will be livid if our match goes ahead if brentford have a full squad and we have "only" a couple of players out with covid considering all our other absentees

also with burnley having so many cancellations the get an advantage that most matches will be played AFTER they have had the opportunity to sign new players in the winter transfer window (doesnt really affect us but will affect others in the relegation zone)

I think they’ve been cheated of a likely 3 points. A squad ready to beat Covid/injury hit Everton, the game called off when Everton found further injuries.

It is more than 3, it looks like to be off.

PL have rules regarding it - so they are doing more tests this morning

Where the status of a COVID-19 outbreak within a club’s squad remains unclear very close to a match. For example, where there remains a concern that not all COVID-19 infections have been identified and there is insufficient time to resolve that concern before kick-off.

Glad I worked last night, This will be called off after I normally leave I imagine

Not sure this right thread as few on Brentford apologies if not.

At what time will both clubs PCR test results be known i.e. when will it be more certain the game is going ahead, surely thats the question on everyones mind right now?

I think we need to be really careful on threads like this. Plenty of rumours and unsubstantiated reports, no foundation to them at all. Stories of tests, games being cancelled etc.

In fact no additional PL games have been postponed today.

I know we’re all a bit paranoid but it really doesn’t help to post stuff until it’s known.

Simple rule.

If the club haven't announced it or it's not on the BBC just don't start threads. Rumours put folk off.

The Daily Mail Tottenham v Palace is an example. But, then again, The Daily Mail is ranked as fake news on a number of online pages.

The Daily Mail is completely fake from it's headlines, right the way through to the sports pages.
