Adam Chicksen performed well in the Capital One Cup victory over Cheltenham Town on Tuesday night but in truth it was not a demanding test for the 22-year old who joined the Albion from MK Dons in a three year deal in July 2013.
When Sheffield Wednesday visited the Amex for the Championship opener, Chicksen had to be content with a bench spot as the experienced Inigo Calderon was switched from right to left.
