Back in December when the Premier League’s TV dates were confirmed, a few Albion fans (including myself) scoffed at the inclusion of Burnley at home. Following the two enthralling encounters of last season, both ending 0-0, it seemed odd that anyone would want to pay actual money to televise the fixture. More pertinently, it didn’t seem relevant - after amassing an impressive points tally as Christmas approached, many of the BHAFC faithful were looking up the table rather than down.
But this, of course, is the Albion we’re talking about. And where the Albion are concerned, nothing is ever straightforward.
