• Six reasons to be cheerful after Bournemouth defeat

It was another frustrating, and goalless, night at the Amex as table-toppers Bournemouth took another big step towards the Premier League with Albion fans looking on with a touch of envy.

It's not all bad though, and here's why:

    1. Wigan didn't win.

That's another 2 points dropped by one of this season's promotion favourites, who are now nearing the Mission: Impossible stage of their battle to avoid the drop. They are 9 points behind Albion with a massively inferior goal difference. One more precious win for Chris Hughton's men will mean it's only Millwall who could overhaul us.

    2. Beram Kayal

The January capture from Celtic looks like being a real decent bit of business. It is no coincidence that Albion conceded after he'd limped out of the game.
