• Eye on the loanees: O'Grady off the mark for the Blades

Albion loanee Chris O'Grady got off the mark for Sheffield United in a 1-1 draw at Bramall Lane against Walsall.

The former Sheffield Wednesday man, who failed to score in 8 league appearances for the Albion, netted in the 56th minute but Walsall levelled soon after with the game ending in a 1-1 stalemate. United sit in 5th spot, eight points off second place MK Dons.

Elsewhere in League One, Craig Mackail-Smith started his third game for Peterborough but has yet to score since his return to London Road. Posh suffered a disappointing 1-0 home defeat to Preston.

In League Two, Shamir Fenelon played his sixth game Tranmere who hosted Cambridge United on Friday evening. After Tranmere took the lead, Cambridge levelled late on as the game finished 1-1. Fenelon's record at Tranmere now stands at one goal in five starts and one substitute appearance.

Turning attentions to the old boys, ex-Albion man Ashley Barnes scored one of the goals of the day at White Hart Lane, firing into the top corner from 20 yards to level for Burnley. It proved to be a consolation for Burnley as Erik Lamela scored the decisive goal to give Spurs a 2-1 victory.

Leo Ulloa had to once again settle for a bench place for struggling Leicester at Upton Park. He was introduced into the game with the Foxes already two down and was unable to sufficiently influence play to change that. Leicester are on an Albion-esque run with no wins in their last 12.
