A message to the fat bloke who sat across the aisle from the press box, bad-mouthing every Albion player from minute one. Your finest moment was telling two guys who were having a bit of a moment together just before half-time to 'facking sit down'. FYI they were Glenn Murray and Joao Pedro, reminiscing about Watford days. I'm sure our new signing felt the love and couldn't wait to be on the end of your incessant moaning. It must have been almost as inspiring as the weather and the half-time score.

And who could blame him ?
To be honest a massive backfire from whoever thought it up. Even without the 3-0 scoreline it seemed strange to me to introduce a new player when he cannot make any contribution this season and on the day his current side are playing the last game of their season, all a bit odd. With the scoreline and vast swathes of people either on the concourse or leaving the stands even more so.
So will he now be forever associated with that inauspicious start or rise above it ? Only time will tell……….

Stat Attack!

Our new Brazilian scored against all 3 sides who were promoted from the Championship last season. Let’s hope he can punish those same 3 sides next season too!
