It's one of those things, France produces the best long distance solo sailors it seems, however, for the 3000m Steeplechase at the Olympics its always going to be a Kenyan.
The guy who was fifth this time yesterday wins (Yannick Besthaven). 
He crossed the line third, but had enough redress time due to him to make him the winner.
Boris Hermann, who was running third and was my tip to win due to his redress time, dramatically collided with a fishing boat 90 miles from the line and is having to limp home at a snail's pace. Gutting.
