[Drinking] The much needed Fridat night drinking thread.

In these miserable and depressing times there doesn't seem to be any reason not to have a Fridat night drink. I'll go and check out my cupboard in a bit to see what plonk I've got in there. Then I'll drink some of it - probably too much of it!

Just to keep you all company - and for no other reason - I'll be opening a can or two of cheap lager, followed by a 2018 Chianti, accompanied by a rare rump steak from Southwick butchers.

A pint of Palmers 200 at Lunchtime in the 5 Bells West Chiltington, Curry night tonight so probably share a Cobra with Mrs Jakarta then who knows?

I talked to Bill the Landlord this Lunchtime and if you like Palmers (Dorset) Beers the 5 Bells are going to do 5 of them next week...

Hope the draught is better than the bottled

Not tonight, but looking forward to my fav19Crimes Deported (red with cold brew coffee) after golf tomorrow.

I love the other 19 crimes but dont like the deported as the coffee makes it taste like Tia Maria

Having no meths in the cupboard (rookie mistake), I've plumped for a nice bottle of Port. I doubt there'll be much (if any) left by morning.

Fridat drinking was postponed as a local runner is doing the David Goggins' 4*4*48 and I noticed he had no company for his midnight run, so I kept him company for that.

Back home around 00:45 and a swift couple of cans of Thatchers Gold to re-hydrate.
