Wrong shaped ball and all that, but his documentary last night was brilliant, moving and very thought-provoking. Such a young age to have a horrendous future and outrageous that, until recently, the rugby governing bodies dismissed the link between dementia and head impacts in training and matches.

Well worth a watch.

It’s terrible. Michael Lipman (flanker) has been on numerous radio and TV programmes in the last few days, his story is equally harrowing. Knocked out 30 times in his rugby career, several times played on (with complicit management and physios) after being KO’d. Now has CTE and early onset dementia - he’s 42 with young kids.
