This weekend feels like the lull before the storm. A recharge of the batteries before plunging headfirst into the most magnificent of maelstroms; a five week rollercoaster ride with more ups than downs, I hope! Strap yourselves in....

Pointless?

It's been quite a nice stress free weekend however I do feel like something is hanging over me with an impending sense of fear and dread. I am just about keeping the bed dry at the moment

Just so.

Lose those fears though. It will transfer to the players if you bring your nerves to the game.

This is our destiny year. You can't rush it, but one game at a time we are going to make it.

Confidence my friend!

International breaks are very annoying at the start of the season.

But with a handful of games left at the end of the season they are crimes against humanity.

I would guess 90%+ of fans would rather do without international football than have the season interupted like this.

I quite agree. Saturdays without a match to go to are rubbish.

It's just garbage tho, isn't it? Just about everybody cares about club level football, while just about nobody cares about international level football anymore.

A pork pie without Colmans English mustard.

A bacon sandwich without brown sauce.

Paul Daniels without Debbie McGee.
