Bloom is nothing of not decisive. Suspect club wanted a cast iron commitment to next season and that he couldn't/wouldn't give it.
Guess Bloom also got tired of RDZ whining and demands.

obvious in recent months he didn’t really want to be here. what’s bizarre is the recent media pieces were angled towards him staying. naylor’s article yesterday that he was ‘adamant’ about staying, saying he wanted lallana to sign for another year, taking about what positions he wanted to recruit in the summer. very strange.

sad news really as we all know what the team was capable of under RDZ. working assumption has to be that there was conversations about what the club were doing in the summer transfer-wise and once again he and bloom were miles apart
Mind games with bloom maybe. Didn't want to quit. Wanted the pay off, or at least the chance to join another club without them paying compensation.

Guessing really... but after everything that's been said by Bloom and Barber about wanting to keep RDZ, surely it must be that in their recent discussions Tony found RDZ's demands on transfers just too much & wasnt willing to make promises that could financially hurt the club or get us into FFP trouble.

RDZ‘s Albion (briefly) played the best football ever seen at the club imo.
Hopefully that’s how he will be remembered as that period may never be matched.
