Sanchez 7 - did not have an awful lot to do but tidy passing

Veltman 8 - destroyed their left-winger
Dunk 7 - easy job, but did it well
Colwill 7 - see above
Pervis 7 - good attacking runs but the only one in the back line who had a little bit of issues

Gross 0 - not one Gross turn. Unacceptable. Otherwise he might have gotten a 7 or so.
Caicedo 7 - solid, always playable

Mitoma 7 - some good runs and actions but think he has a tiny bit left before he is back to pre-World Cup form
Lallana 8 - has been great all season, might as well extend his contract right now. Dipped a little in the second half.
March 9 - would have been a 10 if it wasnt so easy for him out there

Trossard 5 - meh

Sarmiento 7 - produced little value going forward but worked hard and won a couple of balls defensively

The other subs played too little to get a rating

Glad someone else spotted how off Trossard was.

Thanks goodness March and the rest played well.

No extra points for this but it was great to see how delighted Trossard was for March in the goal celebrations

Interesting marks for Mitoma. Shows how highly rated he's quickly become..the missed headers apart he was absolutely unplayable at times and we'd be drooling if that was his debut.
Kids a talent.

Sanchez - 7

Velts - 9
Estupinan - 8
Dunk - 8
Colwill - 8

Gross - 7
Caicedo - 8 (so calm under pressure)
Mitoma - 8
March - 9
Lallana - 7 (some strangely sloppy play at moments. Key to how we play though)

Trossard - 6 (looked cold and fed up most of the time. Good movement but mucked up many a promising moment)

His footwork is unbelievable - easy to see how he developed his dribbling technique from the slightly unusual studies he undertook. He seems to almost stop at points and wait for the slightest sign of weight transfer from the oppo…..and his burst of acceleration to then go past them is absolutely lightning. Highly unusual talent in today’s game and exciting to think how good he’s going to be when fully up to the PL game. He’s only played about 6.5 hours of PL football.

Just has to work on his drinking and shagging and he'll be our George Best.
