On the way back from the match around Selmeston, there was a hold up on the A27 with cars backing up a long way. My brother and I were horrified to see a poor chap laid out on the verge in a very bad way. He was obviously traveling back from the game and was wearing a Brighton shirt.

My thoughts and prayers are very much with this poor fellow.

Just a quick update. I just mentioned this to a colleague and coincidentally, her friend was in the car behind the car and bike involved. She stopped and although the chap has a broken leg, he is otherwise okay. The emergency services took over an hour to arrive though.
