Paul Reid- Australian who played at right-back despite preferring a central midfield role. Signed from Bradford in 2003.
Guy Butters- Slotted his second goal of the campaign, latching onto Richard Carpenter’s free-kick.

Adam El-Abd- Brighton-born lad who played for 11 years in the Albion first team before switching to Bristol City in 2014.
Paul McShane- Scored a memorable winner for Brighton at Crystal Palace in October 2005.
Gary Hart- Popular wholehearted player who famously signed from Stansted for £1,000 and a set of tracksuits.
Charlie Oatway- Albion’s captain was substituted after just four minutes with a suspected broken ankle.
Dean Hammond- Hastings-born midfielder who had two spells with the Seagulls.
Alexandre Frutos- Left-footed French winger who joined Brighton in 2005, making 36 appearances in this 2005/06 campaign.

- Hammersmith-born keeper who faced fierce competition from Simon Royce and Paul Jones in the fight to be first-choice goalie.
Marcus Bignot- Scored an own goal for Brighton in the return fixture, a 1-1 draw at Loftus Road in March.
Ian Evatt- Former Derby defender who joined QPR in June 2005. Currently in his second spell at Chesterfield.
Danny Shittu- Nigerian centre-back who made his debut for the Hoops as a loanee in 2001. QPR player of the season in 2005/06.
Marcus Bean- His tackle from behind led to Oatway, a QPR supporter, being stretchered off.
Gareth Ainsworth- Second behind Shittu in the player of the season award at Loftus Road. Later a player-coach and caretaker boss at QPR.
Martin Rowlands- His excellent displays in 2003/04 for QPR earned him a spell in the Republic of Ireland team.
Lloyd Dyer- An exciting and pacey player. A loanee from West Brom in September 2005.
Richard Langley- Was in his second spell at QPR from August 2005, having played for Cardiff City in between.
Stefan Moore- Former Aston Villa apprentice. Signed for QPR in 2005 and made 39 appearances up to 2008 when he joined Walsall.
Paul Furlong- An ex-Coventry and Chelsea striker. In his third spell at QPR having previously been on loan twice. Father of current QPR defender Darnell Furlong.
