It's a huge blow for us; Solly has been in exceptional form in recent weeks."
Chris Hughton
Brighton & Hove Albion winger Solly March has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, after an MRI scan confirmed a rupture of his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).The England under-21 star was carried off in Saturday's game at Derby County, and now faces a lengthy spell of rehabilitation to be ready for the 2016/17 campaign.
Manager Chris Hughton said, "It's a huge blow for us; Solly has been in exceptional form in recent weeks, was catching the eye with some superb performances and we felt he was getting better with every game he played.
"One positive for Solly, with the advances in that area of sports medicine, is that he will come back from this injury as strong and fit as he has been - if not stronger."
