Under Poyet, Garcia and Hughton we used to have a speedy ball boy, who put a great shift in to retrieve the ball and get the ball flowing each game.

We seem to have one ball boy for the entire stadium now. Is this part of Potterball?

Lad in the NW corner had floppy hair and would take off like a bullet to get the ball.

He's been gone for a few seasons now.

He was an outstanding youth ballboy, we scouted him for years before signing him from a little-known team in Holland for £6.75. Whilst he initially looked good, his performances started to drop off - he slowed down, kept dropping the ball and slipped over a couple of times. He also suffered with a couple of injuries which the club initially said would keep him out for a ‘couple of weeks’, but led to layoffs of several months, although he was always ‘quite close’ to returning apparently. After several games ballboying for the U23s and Women, he was eventually let go and replaced by a high potential ballboy from Paraguay (who incidentally hasn’t been used yet).

I understood it was part of Barberball because he doesn't want ballboys sitting in front of advertising. That is why there is never one in the northeast corner because there is no gap in the screens.

I thought Solly March did a great job as ball boy retrieving it several times today. Hope the club give him a bonus.
