GLENN MURRAY has warned Albion they cannot afford to under-estimate anybody in the Championship.
The Seagulls launched a run of games against some of the division’s so-called lesser lights with a 2-0 home defeat by Brentford.
They now face surprise early pacesetters Huddersfield and promoted pair Burton and Barnsley, with Murray highlighting the exploits of his parent club.
The back-on-loan striker said: “I don’t think you can look at anyone and think they are not as good as you, or anything like that.
“The one you look at is my club Bournemouth. They are doing well in the Premier League, So if Bournemouth can do it anyone can.”
Murray expects Albion to be seen as a big scalp at the Amex after going so close to promotion last season with a formidable home record.
He said: “This is the pressure we’ve put on ourselves. We’ve got to deal with that pressure and we will.
“There were a few half-chances, little things that maybe didn’t drop our way. It was a frustrating afternoon. Brentford counter-attacked and, to be fair to them, they did it well.
“I think we’ve got to get used to that. Clubs are going to come here and sit in, keep the ball at the back and drag us out and hit us on the break. It is difficult to control a team like that.
“We’ll analyse it, work on it and hopefully we’ll stop it next time.”
