PCA Zone 6 Challenge - Friday 8 August
The PCA City Challenge is at Hove
On Friday August 8th the County Ground Hove is host to the 3rd Hill House Hammond Zone6 City Challenge.
This specially designed shortened version of the game will start at 1pm and the final, to be played under lights, will commence at 9pm. Zone6 City Cricket includes revised cricketing rules to provide greater entertainment with parts of the boundary divided into ‘zones’ where a traditional four scores eight, a traditional six scores 12. Each innings is limited to eight overs. Selected players will be equipped with mini-microphones and earpieces to provide insight while the game is in progress.
The cities involved this year are Colombo, capt. by Aravinda De Silva and supported by , Jayasiriya, Sangakarra, Chaminda Vaas, Muralitharan, London, capt. by Alec Stewart, Cape Town capt. by Allan Donald also featuring Daryl Cullinan, Birmingham capt. by Nick Knight, Leeds capt. by Darren Gough and last but not least Brighton & Hove capt. by our own Chris Adams.
It is a day not to miss with so many International world class players on show throughout the day.
Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for under-16s and OAPs. They are available from Ticketzone on 08705 321 321, on the gate on the day. Corporate hospitality packages are also available at £99 per person plus VAT and anyone interested should call Lee Atkins at the PCA on 0207 544 8670.
